On Sept. 13, 2008, the third costliest hurricane in U.S. history wiped out thousands of homes in the Texas Gulf Coast. But in the midst of a historical presidential election and a declining economy, the storm received far less media attention than Katrina and similar disasters.
WOW, I am so happy to hear of the warm accomodations. Cara meant to use some good overnight equipment from us and watching the temps - I had a lot of worry. Thank goodness for the support and comfy home away from home. Take care and good luck. Jenny Pichler
